Fundraising effort recognised at national awards

Two School of Law students have attended a prestigious awards ceremony for their work to raise funds for free legal advice charities.

Alice Sleep and Amber Anders represented the School’s Law School Challenge committee at the LawWorks Student Pro Bono Awards after the team raised an amazing £3,355.89 for free legal advice charities.

Overall, the School came second in the Law School Challenge which is a law school led initiative to raise funds for LawWorks and Advocate. They were also awarded a Gold Award at the ceremony for raising over £2,000.

Well done to the whole committee for their amazing fundraising efforts.
