Centre for Law & Social Justice Annual Lecture - Embodied Gender/Sex Identity: What is it and how does it form?

The Centre for Law & Social Justice is pleased to welcome Professor Anne Fausto Sterling (Brown University) to deliver its Annual Lecture 2018.

In the lecture Professor Fausto Sterling, an internationally renowned gender theorist, will introduce the term Gender/Sex Identity, arguing that Gender/Sex Identity is embodied and multidimensional.

Further, this identity is a dynamic process rather than a fixed state, and it emerges from probabilistic processes rather than being predetermined by either Sex (nature) or Gender (nurture).

A wine reception follows the lecture.
