You are warmly invited to join The Temple North Women’s Forum for our first event this year, which will take place in The Liberty Building on the evening of Thursday, 22 May 2014.
The Temple North Women’s Forum was set up in 2013 to reach out to women practitioners and judges in the North. We hold one or two events each year, with speakers talking about their life experiences and a panel discussion on a particular topic. The formal part of the meeting is then followed by drinks and very lively networking. This year we also hope to hold workshops on practical matters (e.g. building your CV) as an additional means of support.
This year, we will be holding a panel discussion on female attrition within the legal profession, an issue highlighted by Lord Neuberger in his recent Rainbow Lecture (for link and article by Brie Stevens-Hoare QC visit this link).
