- Date: Thursday 19 June 2014, 11:00 – 14:00
- Location: Liberty Building
- Type: Seminars
- Cost: Free
This PhD training seminar introduces doctoral candidates to political science methodologies for researching European knowledge policy cooperation.
This will be useful for those researching for a PhD in law and politics with any European angle, since the focus is on the interaction of law and policy. This seminar discusses three methodological approaches – elite interviews, process tracing, and participant observations – that can be applied to addressing this research question. PhDs will learn about how interests, ideas and institutions interact to affect the formation and development of the European Research Area.
This seminar is part of the Jean Monnet PhD Researcher training seminar series.
