ESRC Seminar Series: Governing Anti-Social Behaviour through Schooling, Parenting and the Family

This is the second seminar in the ESRC 'Governing through Anti-social Behaviour' series

This second seminar in the ESRC 'Governing through Anti-social Behaviour' series examined shifts in regulating behaviour within schools and the policing of young people through family and parenting support programmes.

It focused on the impact of the ASB agenda on young people and the regulation of families. It explored the use of parental compensation orders, parenting orders and contracts in relation to education and anti-social behaviour.

It considered the role of restorative justice initiatives in schools and whole school approaches to bullying and managing young people with behavioural difficulties.
