The Faculty of Social Sciences' Graduate School Conference is an annual interdisciplinary event where PhD researchers in the Faculty present their work in progress in a supportive environment.
It is a great occasion to step out from disciplinary boundaries and contribute to Faculty-level research culture. Please do come and support your fellow PGRs presenting their work.
Registration is open, with all colleagues and PGRs across the Faculty welcome to join - make sure to book your free place here
We are delighted to announce that this year's plenary address will be given by Dr Gilberto Algar-Faria from the University of Bristol, with his talk on "Small steps or a giant leap: Social science research development during and after the PhD". View the full abstract of Gilberto's presentation.
We also have some fantastic presentations to look forward to from our Postgraduate Researchers across the Faculty, including:
- Paper presentations
- PechaKucha presentations
- Poster presentations
