School of Law ranked within top 100 in the world for Law and Legal Studies
The School of Law has consolidated its place in the world top 100 for Law and Legal Studies in the QS World University Rankings by Subject for 2022.
The School is delighted that its world-class academic reputation has been recognised once again in this year’s QS World University Rankings By Subject 2022, having advanced to number 90 in the world – up three places from last year’s position.
The QS World University Rankings By Subject are based upon academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
Head of School Professor Louise Ellison said “to continue to move up in these rankings despite the many challenges Higher Education faced during the Covid-19 pandemic is testament to the hard work and commitment of our School community”.
The QS World University Rankings is a highly respected and key independent indicator of institutional performance and reputation. With an assessment based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact, this year's subject ranking analysed over 1,500 institutions around the world, across 51 different subjects, grouped into five faculty areas.
