We welcome you to the first annual education research impact showcase event.

Based on 16 months of ethnographic fieldwork in Afghanistan, this presentation explores the legal, social and relational practices in the everyday life of Afghanistan’s central money exchanger bazaar.

This showcase marks Stephen Lawrence Memorial Day by bringing together students, community partners, and legal educators to celebrate public legal education and community‑engaged learning.

The Vulnerability & Policing Futures Research Centre and GLEPHA will jointly host the 8th International Law Enforcement and Public Health Conference in Leeds, UK from 6-9 September 2026.
