Dr James R. Hall

Profile

My role involves investigating, supporting and promoting the societal impact of research carried out across the four Schools of the Faculty and working with academics on crafting impact case studies. I am co-lead of the University’s Impact Network.

I joined the Faculty in 2018. Previously, I completed my PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge, where I earlier took degrees in Natural Sciences and in the History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine. I was a visiting predoctoral fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte in Berlin in 2017.
