The Centre for Business Law and Practice becomes an institutional partner of the International Economic Law Collective

The Centre joins a network of top UK and international institutional partners promoting critical research, teaching and practice in international economic law.

The School of Law is delighted that the Centre for Business Law and Practice (CBLP) has become the newest institutional partner of the International Economic Law (IEL) Collective. Created in 2019, this network of top UK and international academic institutions provides a space for critical research, teaching and practice in international economic law, sparking new conversations about the future of the discipline.

Before becoming an institutional partner, the CBLP already had a presence in the IEL Collective through the individual participation of two of its members in the network, Dr Karina Patricio Ferreira Lima and Dr Amaka Vanni. As members of the IEL Collective since its inception, they have been leading academic and policy-oriented projects in the fields of international finance and intellectual property law, respectively.

The CBLP’s move towards such institutional partnership strengthens its position as a leading academic centre for the research, study, and practice of international economic law in the UK as well as internationally.
