The “Kaleidoscope Modernities” of Pride Events
The Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies is delighted to welcome Dr Francesca Romana Ammaturo, Senior Lecturer in Sociology and International Relations, London Metropolitan University for a guest talk. This talk will discuss the complex landscape of Pride Events from a global perspective, drawing predominantly from the findings discussed in Ammaturo’s recently published book The Politics of Pride Events: Local and Global Challenges (2025, Bristol University Press).
