The ECR2P 2022 Annual Lecture: Bringing prevention to the village

The European Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (ECR2P) in POLIS welcomes Alice Wairimu Nderitu, United Nations Special Advisor, to give the 2022 Annual Lecture.
Ms. Alice Wairimu Nderitu, the United Nations Special Advisor to the Secretary-General on the Prevention of Genocide, will give a lecture entitled ‘Bringing prevention to the village: key challenges and opportunities’. The lecture will cover the challenges and opportunities encountered with regard to prevention of mass atrocities efforts worldwide. Prevention is the fundamental pillar of the Responsibility to Protect framework, and atrocity prevention is one of the hardest global challenges of our time.
