MS and Domestic Violence and Abuse Research Initiative

Dr Shruthi Venkatachalam is leading on a knowledge exchange and impact strategy from a wider program of research on Domestic Abuse and Violence and Multiple Sclerosis, including the development of a toolkit for practice. The project is overseen by Dr Andrea Hollomotz (SSP) and Prof Helen Ford from the School of Medicine. The wider team of researchers associated with this project include Kharis Hutchison (SSP, UoL), Prof Nikos Evangelou, Dr Charley Baker and Suzanne Britt from the University of Nottingham.

Dr Venkatachalam’s duties include generating and pursuing original knowledge exchange and impact activities in the areas of victim support offered to people with multiple sclerosis or disabled people more generally within clinical settings and beyond.
