After a BA in Politics and International Relations with French at the University of Kent, I undertook a MSc in Democracy and Comparative Politics at the University College London (UCL) in 2015.
What motivated me to undertake PhD study?
I am of a curious nature and I love researching new ideas and to better understand the world we live in. I am also a deep nerd of politics.
What are my plans once I have completed my PhD?
I intend to go into academia after completing my PhD.
My thesis looks at how the Nunavut Legislative Assembly engage with its population of mostly Inuit’s. This is more interesting when we compare how other Canadian provinces’ legislate public engagement with first nation communities.
The aim of the research is to see how the incorporation of traditions within the institutional framework influence the engagement of the indigenous population.
