Profile
I started my PhD program at the School of Politics and International Studies in October 2024, funded by the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) Scholarship. I am a lecturer at the Government Department, University of Brawijaya. I have been a lecturer since 2016. I obtained my MA (2015) in Politics and Government Department at Gadjah Mada University and my BA (2011) in Government Department at Hasanuddin University.
Research interests
My PhD research focuses on new indigenous politics over twenty -five years of Indonesian democratic reform. My main aim is to systematically analyse the nature of land claims-based indigenous politics in contemporary Indonesian politics. By taking a local setting, the study will also contribute to unpack the nature of decentralisation in post-authoritarian Indonesia, particularly in addressing indigenous rights and recognition.
