Profile
I started my PhD studies at the University of Leeds in 2023. My research focuses on humanitarian intervention and the Responsibility to Protect (R2P), with a particular focus on the intersection of international norms, sovereignty, and intervention dynamics.
I hold a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor's degree in English and International Studies from China Foreign Affairs University.
My current research examines the relationship between humanitarian intervention and regime change, exploring how interventions can uphold humanitarian principles without undermining state sovereignty. Through case studies of Sierra Leone, Libya, and Côte d'Ivoire, I analyse the conditions under which interventions are effective and the factors that contribute to unintended political outcomes.
