Profile

I joined the University of Leeds in 2022 to start a part-time PhD looking at the role of employment interventions in post-conflict reconstruction. My research aims to explore the role that employment and labour market interventions play in post conflict recinstruction and preventing conflict reccurrance. I’m particularly interested in the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) to support large scale content analysis and document review, the role of the labour market in conflict onset and reccurrance, and post-conflict economic rebuilding.

Prior to and alongside my PhD I have worked in policy roles for central government New Zealand and the UK across a range of areas including immigration, state care of children, microeconomic strategy, accessibility in transport, and primary sector innovation.
