- Thesis title: How can social media’s ideological character be re-conceptualised to unearth new questions and further understand the ideological role of social media in today’s society?

Profile
I earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science from California State University, Sacramento. After my BA, I attended The London School of Economics where I earned a Master's in Political Theory.
Research interests
I have a keen interest in ideology and social media. My research attempts to fuse Slavoj Žižek’s theory of ideology with Kylie Jarrett’s “Digital Housewife”. From the fusion of these two positions, I am attempting to conceive of a new way that social media, ideologically, is impacting our daily experience.
