Dewa Ayu Putu Eva Wishanti
My undergraduate diploma in Bachelor of Politics is obtained from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, with first class honours degree. Then I continued to work part time in Jakarta while also doing my master’s studies in International Relations Program, Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta, with a mention of academic satisfaction. Approaching the final months of my master studies, I joined the Center of Global Civil Society Studies in Universitas Indonesia as a program officer for Political Economy Section. I was involved in several strategic research and cooperations with the national government, corporations, as well as civil society organizations.
Currently, I am a faculty member and a full-time lecturer at International Relations Program, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. Since 2013, I have been involved in teaching in undergraduate program, cross-discipline research, and community services in the university.
Most of my academic interests are in the field of international political economy, particularly on natural resources in global development context. Hydropolitics in development is my focus since 2011, especially in the financial dimension. I wrote my master’s thesis about water privatization, won research grants from two international funding agency in water and sanitation themes.
