Profile
I joined the School of Law, University of Leeds, as a full time PhD researcher in February 2025. My doctoral research is sponsered by the Government of India, and focuses on issues at the intersection of climate governance, the rule of law, climate justice, and sustainability. I am particularly interested in how legal and governance frameworks can address the challange of climate change while promoting equity, accountability, and justice.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. I completed my Master’s degree in Law from National Law University Delhi. Prior to commencing my doctoral studies, I served as a faculty member at Jamia Millia Islamia, a Central University in Delhi, and at Jamia Hamdard. In addition to that I was also associated to Centre for policy research a think tank in New Delhi, and I am enrolled in the Bar council of India as an Advocate.
