Profile
I am a research assistant on the Inclusive Public Space project, which is researching access to streets and public spaces in five countries. My research sits at the intersection of disability studies, study of religions and disability theology. My participatory research with disabled Christians, on their experiences of access and inclusion in churches, led to the book ‘At the Gates: Disability, Justice and the Churches’ (2022, with Emily Richardson). Other research interests include accessibility, neurodiversity and practices of healing in churches. I am a trustee for Disability Rights UK.
