I provide pastoral support to students, and provide administrative services and oversee the team for processes in relation to the Student Support function.

More specifically my role covers:

• ensuring students are referred appropriate with regard to pastoral support matters
• appropriate dissemination of students' assessments of needs information
• organising the personal tutoring system
• organising the peer mentoring scheme
• participating in relevant events e.g. induction
• administration and delegation of dissertations
• production of student handbooks
• administration of plagiarism and academic malpractice investigations
• support for students in relation to special/mitigating circumstances
• taught student extension requests
