Dr Joshua Warburton

Profile

I joined the University of Leeds in 2016 as Research Assistant to the Head of the Law School, having previously worked at the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University. 

I obtained my LL.M and PhD in Law from the University of Manchester, and my doctoral thesis was broadly in the area of regulating digital content through optional legal systems.

I have presented papers both nationally and internationally, as well as having chaired legal discussions aimed at engaging the wider public.

Research interests

I research in the areas of Consumer Law, Tort Law, Medical Law, Law and Ethics, Digital Law and Contract Law.
