Research interests
My main research interests are in the areas of land law, trusts and tort law. My more recent research has focussed on the law governing contractual rights to enjoy land, as well as land registration issues. My research is often comparative in nature, analysing the law across different jurisdictions. I have also written about conflicts of interest in the commercial property market.
I provided updates for the most recent edition of Property Law (11th ed, Pearson 2024) by Roger Smith.
