Profile
I am a legal scholar specialising in International Economic Law, with expertise in Trade of Goods and Foreign Investments. I hold an LLB from the University of Guadalajara (Mexico) and an MA in International Law, Ethics and Politics from the University of Birmingham (UK).
My academic experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at CUCEA (University of Guadalajara) and working as a Research Assistant with Dr. Szilárd Gáspár at the University of Birmingham. I have also participated in national and international conferences, including CRES 2018, and remain strongly committed to advancing fair and sustainable global trade policies.
Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Law at the University of Leeds.
Research interests
My doctoral research examines recent trade wars and their legal implications within multilateral trade agreements, with the aim of contributing to policies that foster equitable economic development and strengthen international trade systems.
I thrive on research, collaboration, and continuous learning, always seeking to broaden my understanding of global trade dynamics.
