Profile
I joined Leeds University Law School in October 2024 as a post-graduate researcher. I previously worked in private practice (specialising in intellectual property law) and I am a fully funded researcher, having been awarded the School of Law Scholarship for 2024/25.
Research interests
My research is focused on the use of visual works by AI models as training data, particularly third party owned, copyright-protected visual works. My PhD thesis will examine the effects on creatives and associated industries and whether updates are required to the UK's copyright legislation framework.
