Profile
I am delighted to be back at the University of Leeds for my PhD challenge. I completed my LLM degree at the University of Leeds one year ago and it was during this year that I discovered my PhD research interests.
I graduated from the Northwest University of Politics Science and Law and after graduating I chose to pursue a career as a lawyer with three years' experience in China, focusing on banking and trusts, and the disposal of distressed assets. One year after finishing my master degree, I returned to China to continue my career as a lawyer, focusing mainly on corporate finance litigation.
My father was my legal mentor and is a very good lawyer and partner in China, and I am very grateful to him for the valuable guidance he has always given me both in legal theory and in practice.
Research interests
My research interests focus on reforms in the area of bankruptcy law in China, and my future career path is planned to be closely related to my current research interests.
