Research interests
My research and teaching focus on inclusive education, disability studies, equity, and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), particularly in higher education.
I use sociocultural and critical theories to understand how students and educators experience education and to design more equitable learning environments. My work spans a range of interests and topics including technology and learning sciences, and draws on approaches such as design-based research, arts based research, discourse and interaction analysis, and visual methods. Much of my research is interdisciplinary and international in scope.
