Ying Hu

Profile

I am currently a full-time PhD student in Education at the University of Leeds. My research focuses on children and families, particularly around the social, cultural and policy influences on the lives of children and parents. My academic interests developed over the years of studying and working in the field of education. I have received professional teacher education and training in China, holding Teacher's Certificate both in Secondary School and Higher Education. Before coming to Leeds, I worked as a teaching fellow at university, as well as a translator in a state-owned enterprise in China.
