- Supervisors: Professor Maggie Kubanyiova, Dr Taguhi Sahakyan
Profile
I began my teaching career as a university teacher after getting my master’s degree in TESOL Studies in 2020. I have taught several modules such as College English, Business English and English literature. I love teaching and motivating my students. Besides, I am also very interested in how teachers keep their motivation and pursue development in their career path.
Therefore, I came back to the University of Leeds to begin my study as a full-time PhD student in 2022.
Research interests
I am passionate about doing research in teacher motivation and development. I am very curious about how teacher development program shape or reshape experienced teachers’ vision, especially in the post-covid era. I also want to invite those highly-motivated teachers as co-researchers and listen to their voices about the meaning of language learning and teaching.
