Zenabu Issaka

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your background.

I am Ghanaian and Italian I was raised in Italy so I can speak fluent Italian, I can also speak Spanish and Twi which is a language spoken in Ghana.

What motivated you to apply to study for a foundation course and why did you chose Leeds?

One of the reasons why I choose to apply for a foundation course is because I have a passion and interest for a lot of things, and I wanted to do a foundation year to have a basic knowledge in all the areas of things that I am interested in. The reason why I choose Leeds it’s because I really fell in love with the campus and the system of help and opportunities at Leeds.

What do you think of your course, have there been any particular highlights for you?

I really like my course and all the modules that we have covered so far, a particular highlight for me would be that the modules are all subject and things that we are living in right now so it is very easy to understand and engage in it.

How have you found the online learning so far?

Online learning has been good, so far it has been very easy to get on lectures and complete work.

How would you describe the help and guidance provided by the staff within the School?

The help and guidance have been wonderful, so much help has been offered.

How would you describe the facilities at the University?

I am really loving all the facilities on campus, especially the libraries.
