Impact & engagement
CEYE is committed to collaborative, impactful and Policy Engaged Research.
We actively collaborate with:
- Policy makers (local, national and international)
- Practitioners across all types of early years settings, including childminders
- Parents and community organisations
- Intervention developers and evaluation partners
We also co-sponsor the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Early Education and Childcare, and our policy writing informs national debates around early years provision, workforce, and data use.
Recent policy relevant outputs include:
- Guidance for Local Authorities on planning for the Best Start in Life strategy
- Frameworks for selecting evidence based parenting interventions
- Analysis of early years policy levers within regional combined authorities
We work with policy-makers, intervention development teams, practitioners and parents to shape the future of early years provision and improve outcomes for children.
