The celebrated novelist and journalist James Meek explores the human stories behind the incremental privatization of Britain’s assets. The talk will be introduced and chaired by Dr Paton.

The event is being held on 17 January in Opera North, Leeds. The talk, entitled 'Private Island' will see James Meek analyse the winners who reap the rewards, and those who pay the ever rising bill.
