Dr Angharad Beckett attends the European Open Science Forum in Manchester

Dr Angharad Beckett presented a COST Action Network of which she was the co-proposer.

Last month Dr Angharad Beckett attended the European Open Science Forum in Manchester - a big event showcasing science across Europe. Dr Beckett was invited to present a COST Action Network, of which she was the co-proposer. Beckett is also one of four working group leaders for the network. 

Dr Beckett explained: "Our work focuses upon finding interdisciplinary ways to facilitate inclusive play for disabled children and ensuring their right to play. We are a network of academics and practitioners from 28 countries."

Carlos Moedas, the EU Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, also attended the event.
