Roger Slee’s PhD masterclass
On 5th June, Roger Slee of the University of South Australia, Visiting Professor at the School of Sociology and Social Policy, gave a Masterclass for our PhD students and early-career researchers.
Roger Slee's topic was academic writing and his workshop was entitled Bound by Words. He shared his own writing process and offered valuable advice about how to achieve impact from our work via clarity of writing and finding points of connection with different audiences. Roger also encouraged everyone to read beyond discipline and learn from other fields.
