Dr Mark Davis to discuss alternative finance at FinTech North
Dr Mark Davis will be speaking at FinTech North 2017 in six days’ time as part of Leeds Digital Festival 2017.
FinTech North is a one-day conference which aims to generate collaboration and knowledge share within the financial services and technology community in a bid to generate tangible economic benefits for the region.
Mark will be a keynote speaker at the event on 26th April, sharing his expertise on the alternative finance movement, and exploring the future of the pioneering sector. Mark regards FinTech to provide us with “a way of diverting our money away from mainstream financial institutions, and so it has the potential to deliver social and environmental value to individuals and communities”.
