The pioneering MSc in Disability Studies, Rights and Inclusion has been awarded five fully funded Commonwealth Distance Learning Masters Scholarships for eligible students.
Following a highly competitive process, Dr Hannah Morgan, Associate Professor in Social Policy and Disability Studies, has secured 5 fully funded scholarships (plus equipment grants) from the Commonwealth Distance Learning programme.
This represents a significant opportunity for 5 graduate applicants from Commonwealth countries to pursue the two-year part-time fully online MSc Disability Studies, Rights and Inclusion for the 2025/26 academic year.
Professor Paul Johnson, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences said of the scholarships,
These scholarships will offer life changing opportunities to the recipients – thus advancing our Vision to change the world, for the good of all.
The Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships are for candidates from eligible low and middle-income Commonwealth countries, to undertake part-time taught masters study with UK universities while remaining in their home countries.
The MSc in Disability Studies, Rights and Inclusion supports students to recognise, understand and meet the challenges facing disabled people around the world.
As online learners, the successful candidates will join a global classroom with like-minded learners from around the world, in an accessible and inclusive online environment.
Between 8 April and 30 May 2025, we will be inviting applications for five Commonwealth Distance Learning masters scholarship awards, covering full fees and an equipment/support grant of £2,225.
