School of Sociology success at the Leeds Partnership Awards 2021

Members of the School were recognised at both a Faculty and University level in the awards, which celebrate the achievements of staff, students and postgraduate researchers.

The Leeds Partnership conduct a yearly awards programme which highlights staff and students who go out of their way to make the learning experience at the University of Leeds exceptional.

The Faculty Partnership Awards were announced in April, with winners from the School of Sociology and Social Policy:

Sustained excellence: Suzanne Hallam

Mentor: Andrea Hollomotz

Personal Tutor: Karen Throsby

Supervisor: Ipek Demir

Faculty winners were then nominated for the University awards, judged by the main panel to decide the overall winners. These awards were held online on the Leeds University Union Twitter feed on Wednesday 5 May.

We were delighted that SSP colleagues were also recognised at this level:

The Partnership Award (Group winner): Faculty Student Support Team, Faculty of Social Sciences – Rachel Walton and Louise Goddard

Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding work.
