Abstract - Young People's Aspirations and Future Orientations: A Matter of Choice?
This presentation explores young people's aspirations and orientations via their educational and employment situations, and plans and hopes for the future. It draws on 38 young people's narratives from diverse classed backgrounds and family arrangements, with varying degrees of resources, to explore how these link to teens trajectories, and associated inequalities around opportunity and choice.
