Symplectic and White Rose Repository

The new University Publications Policy requires authors to upload the full text of all future publications to the University Publications Database.

The University Publications Database (Symplectic) makes it easy to collect all your publications and grant information in one place and allows the University to maintain an up-to-date picture of all research activity.  The publications database is the source of information for REF outputs and it is therefore important that entries are updated on a regular basis. The new University Publications Policy requires authors to upload the full text of all future publications to the University Publications Database. These will then be made open access (copyright permitting) via White Rose Research Online (WRRO), our institutional repository. As well as ensuring your research reaches a wider audience, adding your publications to WRRO contributes towards compliance with funder policies and future REF requirements. Publications will also appear as an additional page on your staff profile found on the School’s website.  It is important to note that there is also a section of “home” staff page which refers to publications.  In here five publications can be shown.  To update this section, please send any amendments to the faculty marketing team.

It is strongly advised that individuals check their page regularly to ensure it is as relevant as possible.
