The stigma of poverty: Challenges, Interventions and possibilities

This roundtable will provide an invaluable opportunity to explore the latest research evidence on poverty stigma, and to discuss possible strategies that can be employed to address and mitigate it.

What is the impact of poverty stigma?

How have campaigns such as Scotland's own 'Stick Your Labels' campaign sought to address and reduce poverty stigma?

What role can policy makers, employers and academics take here?

And what more can and should be done?

On behalf of Poverty Alliance and the Social Policy Association, we would like to invite you to attend a policy roundtable event where these questions will be discussed.

It will feature brief presentations from the following:
