One day can change your life. Join our open day to learn more about the BA Social Science (foundation year) degree.

BA Social Science (foundation year) is a foundation year course for people who don’t meet the standard admissions requirements for an undergraduate degree. You may have recently left education, or you are returning to study after a break. Perhaps you missed out on the common entry requirements and are considering BA Social Science (foundation year) as a gateway to a degree.
This event will introduce the course, give you a chance to meet the friendly and supportive people you’ll work with, and ask any questions you might have.
You’ll also have the opportunity to meet some of our current students and chat to them about their personal experience of the course.
The event will cover:
- Course content and how we’ll support you.
- Employment opportunities and experiences such as work placements, studying abroad and volunteering.
- Entry requirements and how to apply.
- Scholarships and financial support.
If you’re interested in starting your studies in September 2024 you can apply up to 30 June 2024 for this course, providing places are still available.
