Profile
I am a Teaching Fellow in Sociology and Social Theory in the School of Sociology and Social Policy. I teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across fields such as classical sociology, social theory, the sociology of culture and videogames. After pursuing a non-traditional route into Higher Education through the BA Social Science Foundation Year programme, I completed my BA in History of Art and Sociology before undertaking a Masters in Social and Political Thought. I completed my PhD on ‘Enterprise Cultures in Higher Education and the Creative Arts’ in 2020.
