Profile

After working at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, I joined the University of Leeds in 2013 as a PhD candidate and have been in the School of Sociology and Social Policy since early 2019.

Research interests

My research interests are in the field of Consumer culture and Critical Theory and look specifically at how morality and ideology are constructed in every day consumption.

Student education

I teach on both undergraduate and taught post graduate modules across the school. 

As part of my Curriculum Redefined role and as a member of the university’s Assessment Strategy Experts Group I focus on the enhancement of assessment in SSP and across the university, working towards the university strategy of fair, inclusive and authentic assessment.
