Profile
My doctoral research aims to analyze Mexico's post-2000 democratic transition, focusing on municipal urban conditions. To attain this objective, I plan to investigate the dynamics between citizens and the government through participatory mechanisms, exploring citizens' perceptions, negotiation strategies, and levels of engagement. Additionally, I aim to uncover alternative forms of community organization that extend beyond conventional formal participation spaces. To achieve these aims, I plan to use an ethnographic approach.
