Professor Simon Lightfoot selected as Visiting Fellow at the prestigious College of Europe

The Professor of Politics has completed his stay as visiting fellow in Natolin, Warsaw.

In February 2024, Professor Simon Lightfoot was selected as a visiting fellow at the College of Europe in Natolin. 

The College of Europe is the oldest and Europe’s most renowned institute of postgraduate studies and training in European affairs, and remains unique and innovative to this day.

During his stay, Professor Lightfoot gave a presentation to staff and students on ‘The increasing divergence of international development policies in Central and Eastern Europe since EU accession?’

He participated in a class and met with core College staff to discuss research, including Professor Kataryna Wolczuk and Dr Sebastian Steingass, and also spent time discussing various aspects of student education with the Director of Studies, Professor Pascaline Winard and members of the teaching team.
