Law, Finance and Development with Chinese Characteristics

Co-organised with Wuhan University this conference addresses the themes of getting credit, minority shareholder protection and resolving insolvency, from legal, financial and business perspectives.

Call for Papers: One-day conference at SOAS, University of London 25 June 2019

This conference is hosted by the School of Law University of Leeds and Economic and Management School of Wuhan University and arises out of a research project on ‘Boosting growth through strengthening investor and creditor protection in China: How China can learn from the UK experience’.

This project has been funded by the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) under its flagship Global Challenges Research Fund and also by the Natural Science Foundation of China.
