The School of Law is delighted to host ‘Policing Futures: Concepts, Practices and Debates’, a one-day postgraduate research (PGR) conference.

The Centre for Criminal Justice Studies are hosting this workshop to address legal and social science responses to profound epistemic shifts in social biologies.

This Conference provides postgraduate research students at the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies (CCJS) with the opportunity to present papers drawing on their PhD studies.

This conference brings members of the Centre together with other national and international scholars with a shared interest in the regulation of individuals, organisations, and industries.

As part of the Markets in Policing ESRC Seminar Series, the seventh seminar will be entitled 'Regulating the Market for Policing' and be held at the University of Sheffield on 4 July 2017.

Two research projects were undertaken and the Symposium will launch reports on these as well as providing brief presentations on current research themes.
